The Creative Place Pledge
*The Creative Place, we believe that communication is not just a means of conveying information, but a fundamental human right. We're dedicated to empowering individuals and families by providing comprehensive programs designed to break down barriers and foster understanding.*
About Us
Our student and parent programs are at the heart of our mission, offering immersive experiences in American Sign Language (ASL) and English communication.
Whether you're a newcomer to the world of sign language or looking to enhance your skills, our expert instructors are here to guide you every step of the way.
Through interactive workshops, classes, and resources, we aim to equip participants with the tools they need to thrive in a world that sometimes feels like it's speaking a different language.
Our Mission and Vision Statement
At “The Creative Place,” we believe that creativity knows no boundaries. By fostering a collaborative space where art, technology, and expression intersect, we aim to create a vibrant community where all children can grow and communicate effectively.
Our vision is to empower every child regardless of their hearing abilities – discover their unique talents and express themselves freely.

Student Program Approach
What We Do
Inclusive Learning Environment: Our center will be a safe haven for children of diverse backgrounds. Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students will learn side by side with their hearing peers, breaking down barriers and promoting understanding.
Art as a Universal Language: We recognize that art transcends spoken language. Through activities such as painting on canvas, robotics, technology exploration, photography, film development, and dance, children will communicate, collaborate, and express themselves authentically.
Community Engagement: We actively seek partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and philanthropists who share our passion for empowering young minds. By fostering community connections, we can secure the resources needed to sustain and expand our programs.
